Antinoo Arcigay Napoli era a Napoli il 16 e 17 gennaio per il Kick-Off Meeting di XENIA: H.E. Inclusiveness Index, un progetto co-finanziato dal Programma Erasmus + della Commissione Europea, Key Action 3.
XENIA è implementato da un consorzio di 7 partner provenienti da 5 paesi europei (Italia, Irlanda, Slovenia, Grecia e Spagna). Xenia svilupperà uno strumento innovativo e integrato che supporterà le Università Europee nella valutazione dell'effettivo livello di inclusività del loro ambiente e nell'individuazione di tutti gli sforzi che possono essere fatti per affrontare al meglio le esigenze delle persone LGBT+ e garantire la protezione dei loro diritti fondamentali e le loro opportunità accademiche.
Durante l'incontro, i partner hanno avviato l'implementazione del progetto pianificando le attività del pacchetto di lavoro 1 per definire una metodologia comune e identificare le aree tematiche e gli indicatori per l'indice, lo strumento per migliorare l'inclusione degli IIS e dotarli di strumenti, casi di studio / politiche e Best practice per combattere lo stigma e l'esclusione per motivi di identità di genere e/o orientamento sessuale. Quindi i partner hanno delineato i dettagli delle attività di valutazione e controllo qualità.
Il Meeting ha anche rappresentato una grande opportunità per i partner di concordare il dominio web, il logo del progetto e il web design al fine di favorire la visibilità del progetto e di avviare attività di diffusione, con mezzi sia online che offline per raggiungere quasi 3 milioni di persone, l'importo totale previsto per i tre anni del progetto.
Antinoo Arcigay Napoli porta nel progetto la sua expertise sui temi relativi ai bisogni e ai diritti delle persone LGBT+.
Antinoo Arcigay Napoli in Naples for the Kick-Off Meeting of XENIA: H.E. Inclusiveness Index, an Erasmus+ Project

Antinoo Arcigay Napoli was in Naples on January 16th and 17th for the Kick-Off Meeting of XENIA: H.E. Inclusiveness Index, a Project co-founded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 3.
XENIA is implemented by a Consortium of 7 Partners from 5 European countries (Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, Greece and Spain). Xenia will develop an innovative and integrated tool that will support European higher education institutions -HEIs- in evaluating the actual level of inclusiveness of their environment and in identifying any efforts that can be placed to best address the needs of LGBT+ people and ensure the protection of their fundamental rights and academic opportunities.
At the meeting, Partners jumpstarted Project implementation planning the activities of Work Package 1 to define a common methodology and identify the thematic areas and indicators for the Index, the tool to enhance HEIs’ inclusiveness and to equip them with Tools, Case studies/Policies and Best Practices to combat gender and sexual orientation stigma and exclusion. Then, Partners outlined the details of Evaluation and Quality Assurance activities.
The Kick-Off Meeting also represented a great opportunity for Partners to agree upon the web domain, the project logo and web design in order to foster Project visibility and exploitation and to launch dissemination activities, with both online and offline means to reach almost 3 million of people, the total amount expected over the three years of the project.
Antinoo Arcigay Napoli brings its expertise to the project on issues related to the needs and rights of LGBT + people.
